Silver Sponsor of the Alliance for Childhood Vaccinations
At Workcapital, SA we once again take a step forward in the fight against infant mortality by becoming a Silver Sponsor of the Alliance for Childhood Vaccination. This initiative, promoted by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the “la Caixa” Foundation, with the collaboration of ISGlobal, is making a real difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.
Our donation is intended for the distribution of vaccines in Mozambique and Ethiopia, countries that face serious difficulties in accessing medical care and where pneumonia is one of the main causes of infant mortality. With this initiative, we help vaccinate more than 1.200.000 children under 5 years of age in the poorest countries in the world, which fills us with joy and motivates us to continue collaborating in this noble project.
Furthermore, the fact that our donations are multiplied by four thanks to the commitment of the “la Caixa” Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, shows us the positive impact we can achieve when we join forces for a common cause.
